What We Do

Pastoral Care at Holy Nativity

Jesus asks us to love one another as He loves us. How do we do this? We do this by taking care of one other, by caring for the Body of Christ, by caring for others as Christ cares for each one of us.

The Pastoral Care Team at Holy Nativity is here to provide pastoral care and support to our parishioners. In this regard, we offer the following:

  • Assistance with errands
  • Del…

Community Oven

Since the Fall of 2015, Holy Nativity has been the home of the Westchester Community Bread Oven. Every second Saturday of the month (weather permitting), the community gathers in the late morning, early afternoon, to make pizza together, and we conclude the afternoon baking loaves of bread. (You can find a more specific schedule, as well as what to bring, HERE.) This is a great o…

Peace and Justice Outreach

RM2-CODA Meeting (Penciled In for Now)

Saturday, May 27, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

5-8-19: BK spoke with Norma from CODA (310) 990-1617. Norma will call us on Tuesday, May 14, to confirm whether they want this room on Saturdays starting May 25. She needs to discuss it with a few people first but asked me to pencil in this first start date. For now it will be temporary for the next 3-4 months. We explained that the time will have to be 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. to give the prior group time to leave. CODA's group averages 20-30 people per week. We also explained to her if something comes up where we need the room that we will provide her with plenty of notice. She asked about the donation. Quoted her $50 a week minimum. 5-14-19 Norma called and wants to meet here starting on May 25 for 3-4 mos. She or her co-secretary Jared will pick up a key for RM2 prior to May 25.
