Yoga Therapy for Women in Midlife with Amy Wheeler - 9/24/16 from 12 noon - 3 PM

Women have very many beautiful changes to their body, mind, and spirit from ages 35-65. This workshop will be a way to honor those changes and to work with the flow of nature instead of against it. Women want to feel healthy and radiant and beautiful at all phases of life.

The workshop will consist of

 Gentle breath-based practice focused on women’s issues
 Lecture: cycle’s of a woman’s life and how to support ourselves
 Discussion and Q and A
 Breathing and visualization practice focused on women’s issues

This workshop is appropriate for Yoga Teachers and Yoga Therapists who want to learn more about how to address issues like menopause, fertility, weight-gain and helping a woman come into her power center. We also welcome health care practitioners who want to know more about how yoga can help their clients.

The workshop will also be lovely for any yoga student who wants to nourish herself and learn more about women’s life cycles from a yogic perspective.
