While You Are Here

We have 2 services each Sunday:

8:00 am – Spoken Eucharist

10:30 am – Sung Eucharist

At Holy Nativity, our services are traditional yet relaxed; we like to think of them as reverent yet comfortable – with room for the unpredictable movement of the Holy Spirit. We also believe in liturgy in the truest sense: as the work of the people. In that spirit, we encourage you to share whatever is on your heart in response to the sermon in our dialogue directly following the homily; the sermon isn’t over until the wisdom in the room is spoken.

A printed bulletin is available for each service, which will help guide you through the liturgy. Participate to the extent that you are comfortable. If you wish, just sit back and absorb the spirit and prayerfulness of the service. What to wear? Whatever you like – you’ll fit right in whether in your Sunday best or your broken-in jeans. God loves you no matter what you’re wearing and so do we.

Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome to come forward to receive Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome at the Table. If you do not want to receive Communion, you are welcome to come forward for a blessing, which is indicated by crossing your arms across your chest.

We encourage you

  • To ask any questions you have about the Episcopal church in general or Holy Nativity specifically
  • To join us for refreshments the Community Hall (after the 10:30 service) for a time of fellowship
  • To visit us at least two more times to get a better feel for what our community may have to offer you
