EZ Transit Pass
Ever since I was run down by a car a week ago, I've had to spend large amounts of time traveling to and sitting in clinics, offices and other destinations necessitated by bureaucratic demands and healing arrangements just for convalescing [12-plus hours yesterday just at one medical office]. Thus, I'm not making money [sannyasis don't make money anyway] and seriously interfering with healing of knee, walking miles a day on crutches when I should be convalescing.
An inter-transit bus pass would make a huge difference in both getting around and in shortening trips. Every bus is full fare on MTA, no longer issuing transfers, and fares are going up, way up, on some bus lines beginning August. Two or more people could pool resources for this single monthly item, cutting a great relief in furthering healing and time spent in transit.
