In early 2008 the Vestry of Holy Nativity Parish agreed to radically alter the grounds around the church buildings by tearing out old juniper bushes and lawn and planting a Community Garden. The Community Garden has inspired additional projects to help provide fresh, organic food for our neighbors in need. The original Garden is expanding to include fruit trees and a Medicinal Herb Garden, We have also started Harvest Westchester an initiative to gather excess fruit from trees in our community and deliver it to the Food Pantry LAX.  Here's what's happening:

THE GARDEN CALENDAR
